Snow Fortress

From MHWiki

The Mad Elf Mouse has secured a snow stronghold where he has amassed an army of mice! The King is calling upon all Master Toy Makers to seek out the Mad Elf Mouse, find his weakness and capture him once and for all!

Description and Requirements

The Snow Fortress is a location in the Gnawnia region, first released on 20 December 2011 during the Great Winter Hunt 2011. To enter, hunters must have a minimum Hunter's Title of Apprentice and be a Master Toy Maker by having at least 500 Toy Receipts.

The area is divided into sequential groups: in the Gateway, the hunter must catch 40 mice; in the Courtyard, the hunter must catch 50 mice, and in the Keep, the hunter must catch 30 mice.

Hunters remaining in the area at the end of the event were transported to the Construction Yard, which later became the Tournament Hall.

Hunting Strategy

Hunting tips by Larry

The Mad Elf Mouse has created this massive Snow Fortress to ward off the efforts of MouseHunters! The Snow Fortress is divided into four distinct sections; The Gateway, the Courtyard, the Keep and the Throne Room.

By hunting mice in each section of the Snow Fortress you'll progress though each specific section, making your way closer to the Throne Room where the Mad Elf Mouse will be waiting. Take note hunter, the mice here are only attracted to Festive Feta.

Be warned MouseHunter, upon entering the Throne Room the Mad Elf's anti-trap electromagnetic pulse will disable all traps not made from toy technology. In order to effectively hunt in the final stage of the Snow Fortress you'll need to find a trap capable of maintaining power.

Good luck against the Mad Elf Mouse, hunter, the fate of the Great Winter Hunt now rests on your brave shoulders!
