When it comes to eating cheese off a trap, three heads are better than one! Quick and agile, the three headed Hydra mouse furiously attacks a hunter's trap in search of a morsel of cheese. Their regeneration abilities make them especially hard to catch. This mouse was designed by Mousehunt fan Neilson Cheng!
Mouse ID#: 101

Preferred Cheese

  • The Hydra Mouse has been found to be especially attracted to Gnarled and Wicked Gnarly cheeses, to the point that any other kind of cheese will simply not suffice.
  • The Hydra Mouse can be attracted by standard cheeses, but it has a distinct preference for SUPER|brie+.

Hunting Strategy

Hydro traps are very effective against the Hydra Mouse. Physical and Tactical traps are of normal effectiveness, but could perform better than a weak Hydro trap.

The Hydra Mouse drops the Ship Blueprints in the Lagoon and Bolt of Cloth, Rope, Scrap Metal, Simple Orb, and Splintered Wood in both locations.

Event Participation

  • The Hydra Mouse drops the Hydra Egg during the annual Spring Egg Hunt.
