Years ago in Bristle Woods, a MouseHunter by the name of Plankrun opened a passageway to another realm. The passage was intended to act as an elaborate one-way trap for Acolyte mice. However, recently, the Acolyte mice have had success in reversing the portal's direction and are attempting to re-enter the Gnawnia Kingdom.

Overview

The Acolyte Realm is a location in the Bristle Woods region requiring a minimum rank of Legendary, the Keeper's Candle, and capturing a Realm Ripper Mouse in the Forbidden Grove to enter.
The Keeper's Candle is dropped as loot by the Keeper Mouse in the Catacombs.
Mice in this location may steal points, gold, or multiple pieces of cheese if not captured.
Entering the Acolyte Realm creates an entry in the Hunter's Journal:

Upon capturing a Realm Ripper, the trees were engulfed in a thick, black fog and the ground began to fade. I awoke in a strange realm...

Once Hunters have entered the Acolyte Realm they may remain there indefinitely. However, when a Hunter leaves the Acolyte Realm they will not be able to reenter the location without capturing another Realm Ripper Mouse in the Forbidden Grove.

Open/Close Cycle -- Forbidden Grove

The Forbidden Grove is on a 20 hour cycle. It remains open for 16 hours, then closes for 4 hours. Hunters may not travel to the Forbidden Grove while it is closed.
When the Forbidden Grove is open, the Realm Ripper Mouse cannot be encountered unless the Hunter has a Realm Ripper Charm armed. This prevents Hunters from entering the Acolyte Realm.
When the Forbidden Grove closes, the Realm Ripper Mouse can be encountered and is the only mouse available. Capturing the Realm Ripper Mouse transports the Hunter to the Acolyte Realm and is the only way Hunters are able to enter the Acolyte Realm location.

Acolyte Realm Mice

The Acolyte Realm mice are a mix of mice from The Forgotten Mice and the Indigenous Mice groups.
Mice found in this location are primarily weak to Forgotten and Arcane weapons, with a secondary weakness to Shadow weapons. The Hunter's choice of cheese will determine which weapon to arm for best results.

Cheese Preference and Loot

Runic Cheese is required for attracting the Acolyte Mouse and Chrono Mouse. When armed, the 4 mice from the Indigenous Mice group will not be attracted. Forgotten weapons are strongly recommended when hunting with Runic Cheese.
Radioactive Blue Cheese, Rancid Radioactive Blue Cheese or Magical Rancid Radioactive Blue Cheese attracts the relatively weaker mice found in the Acolyte Realm. These mice are weakest to Arcane weapons.
Ancient Cheese significantly reduces the mouse population in the Acolyte Realm.

Hunting tips by Larry

We aren't in Gnawnia anymore!

Look sharp, brave MouseHunter, for in this tower in the mist dwells an evil mouse known as the Acolyte. Only Runic cheese, made from runes collected in the Forbidden Grove, can attract the Acolyte, but be warned: few traps are capable of doing any significant damage to it once it is caught.

But. . . there may be hope yet. Legend tells of an island located far off the eastern coast of Gnawnia where a trap capable of defeating an Acolyte was once constructed. The General Store in the Catacombs sells blueprints that show how to build a seaworthy ship, should you wish to seek out the builders.

Shops

There are no shops available in the Acolyte Realm. Shops for the Bristle Woods region can be found in the Catacombs.
