Hunters cannot travel to the Acolyte Realm in the standard manner. The only way to enter the Realm is through the Forbidden Grove. Hunters trapped in the Forbidden Grove when its gates close will automatically be sent to the Acolyte Realm. They can then stay and hunt, or travel (using the map) to any other location in the Kingdom. However, if they choose to leave, they will not be able to return until the gate to the Forbidden Grove once again opens.

Overview
+
The Acolyte Realm is a location in the Bristle Woods region requiring a minimum rank of Legendary, the Keeper's Candle, and capturing a Realm Ripper Mouse in the Forbidden Grove to enter.
+
The Keeper's Candle is dropped as loot by the Keeper Mouse in the Catacombs.
+
Mice in this location may steal points, gold, or multiple pieces of cheese if not captured.
+
Entering the Acolyte Realm creates an entry in the Hunter's Journal:
+
:Upon capturing a Realm Ripper, the trees were engulfed in a thick, black fog and the ground began to fade. I awoke in a strange realm...
+

+
Once Hunters have entered the Acolyte Realm they may remain there indefinitely. However, when a Hunter leaves the Acolyte Realm they will not be able to reenter the location without capturing another Realm Ripper Mouse in the Forbidden Grove.

As the heavy stone gates of the hidden grove closed, the trees were engulfed in a thick, black fog. The ground began to fade as I felt a cold shiver rush through by body. I awoke in a strange realm...
+
Open/Close Cycle -- Forbidden Grove
+
The Forbidden Grove is on a 20 hour cycle. It remains open for 16 hours, then closes for 4 hours. Hunters may not travel to the Forbidden Grove while it is closed.
+
When the Forbidden Grove is open, the Realm Ripper Mouse cannot be encountered unless the Hunter has a Realm Ripper Charm armed. This prevents Hunters from entering the Acolyte Realm.
+
When the Forbidden Grove closes, the Realm Ripper Mouse can be encountered and is the only mouse available. Capturing the Realm Ripper Mouse transports the Hunter to the Acolyte Realm and is the only way Hunters are able to enter the Acolyte Realm location.

Mice in this location may steal points, gold, or multiple pieces of cheese if not captured.
+
Acolyte Realm Mice
+
The Acolyte Realm mice are a mix of mice from The Forgotten Mice and the Indigenous Mice groups.
+
Mice found in this location are primarily weak to Forgotten and Arcane weapons, with a secondary weakness to Shadow weapons. The Hunter's choice of cheese will determine which weapon to arm for best results.

Shops
+
Cheese Preference and Loot
There are no shops available in the Acolyte Realm. Shops for the Bristle Woods region can be found in the Catacombs.
+
Runic Cheese is required for attracting the Acolyte Mouse and Chrono Mouse. When armed, the 4 mice from the Indigenous Mice group will not be attracted. Forgotten weapons are strongly recommended when hunting with Runic Cheese.
+
Radioactive Blue Cheese, Rancid Radioactive Blue Cheese or Magical Rancid Radioactive Blue Cheese attracts the relatively weaker mice found in the Acolyte Realm. These mice are weakest to Arcane weapons.
+
Ancient Cheese significantly reduces the mouse population in the Acolyte Realm.

Hunting Strategy
Hunters in the Acolyte Realm should have been prepared when they entered the Forbidden Grove. If so, they should simply persevereMuch like the Dojo and Catacombs, it is an area of good long-term rewards, but very mixed results in the short term.

Hunters must capture a Realm Ripper Mouse in the Forbidden Grove to enter the Acolyte Realm.
Location-Specific Effects
+
Bases
+
* The Runic Base is a limited edition base that increases the chance of Runes being dropped as loot, as well as adding a small chance of receiving an extra Rune.

It has been suggested that users who wish to stay in the Acolyte Realm for a long period of time, should bring plenty of Ionized Salt and Cheddar or White Cheddar, as well as a stale trap setup. Using the stale trap the poor attraction rate of cheddar/white cheddar means that the user is able to generate Stale Cheese within the Acolyte Realm and hence can craft either Ancient or Runic cheese without the need to travel outside Bristle Woods. Alternatively, the hunters may choose to stock up on Runic or Ancient Potions and bring extra Brie/Gouda or SUPER|brie+ for imbuing the cheese.
+
Traps
+
* The Father Winter's Timepiece Trap's power within the Acolyte Realm will increase by 2,000 each time it captures an Acolyte, the Chrono Mouse is the only mouse capable of rewinding the timepiece, releasing bonus items in the process! The more Acolytes it captures before capturing a Chrono Mouse, the more loot the Chrono Mouse will drop, but doing so will also revert the trap to its original power. This loot includes Frozen Scrolls, Divine Orbs, Forgotten Charms and Shadow Charms.

Arcane Capturing Rod Of Never Yielding Mystery is recommended to catch most of the mice in the Acolyte Realm. If the hunter is trying to specifically catch the Acolyte mouse, the hunter should use the Ancient Box Trap trap. Before the Ancient Box Trap was introduced players were encouraged to use the luckiest trap setup available, but it produced many misses on the Forgotten mice.

Years ago in Bristle Woods, a MouseHunter by the name of Plankrun opened a passageway to another realm. The passage was intended to act as an elaborate one-way trap for Acolyte mice. However, recently, the Acolyte mice have had success in reversing the portal's direction and are attempting to re-enter the Gnawnia Kingdom.

Overview

The Acolyte Realm is a location in the Bristle Woods region requiring a minimum rank of Legendary, the Keeper's Candle, and capturing a Realm Ripper Mouse in the Forbidden Grove to enter.
The Keeper's Candle is dropped as loot by the Keeper Mouse in the Catacombs.
Mice in this location may steal points, gold, or multiple pieces of cheese if not captured.
Entering the Acolyte Realm creates an entry in the Hunter's Journal:

Upon capturing a Realm Ripper, the trees were engulfed in a thick, black fog and the ground began to fade. I awoke in a strange realm...

Once Hunters have entered the Acolyte Realm they may remain there indefinitely. However, when a Hunter leaves the Acolyte Realm they will not be able to reenter the location without capturing another Realm Ripper Mouse in the Forbidden Grove.

Open/Close Cycle -- Forbidden Grove

The Forbidden Grove is on a 20 hour cycle. It remains open for 16 hours, then closes for 4 hours. Hunters may not travel to the Forbidden Grove while it is closed.
When the Forbidden Grove is open, the Realm Ripper Mouse cannot be encountered unless the Hunter has a Realm Ripper Charm armed. This prevents Hunters from entering the Acolyte Realm.
When the Forbidden Grove closes, the Realm Ripper Mouse can be encountered and is the only mouse available. Capturing the Realm Ripper Mouse transports the Hunter to the Acolyte Realm and is the only way Hunters are able to enter the Acolyte Realm location.

Acolyte Realm Mice

The Acolyte Realm mice are a mix of mice from The Forgotten Mice and the Indigenous Mice groups.
Mice found in this location are primarily weak to Forgotten and Arcane weapons, with a secondary weakness to Shadow weapons. The Hunter's choice of cheese will determine which weapon to arm for best results.

Cheese Preference and Loot

Runic Cheese is required for attracting the Acolyte Mouse and Chrono Mouse. When armed, the 4 mice from the Indigenous Mice group will not be attracted. Forgotten weapons are strongly recommended when hunting with Runic Cheese.
Radioactive Blue Cheese, Rancid Radioactive Blue Cheese or Magical Rancid Radioactive Blue Cheese attracts the relatively weaker mice found in the Acolyte Realm. These mice are weakest to Arcane weapons.
Ancient Cheese significantly reduces the mouse population in the Acolyte Realm.

Hunting Strategy

Hunters must capture a Realm Ripper Mouse in the Forbidden Grove to enter the Acolyte Realm.
Once Hunters have entered the Acolyte Realm they may remain there indefinitely. However, when a Hunter leaves the Acolyte Realm they will not be able to reenter the location without capturing another Realm Ripper Mouse in the Forbidden Grove.

Mice found in this location are primarily weak to Forgotten and Arcane weapons, with a secondary weakness to Shadow weapons. The Hunter's choice of cheese will determine which weapon to arm for best results.

Location-Specific Effects

Hunting tips by Larry

We aren't in Gnawnia anymore!

Look sharp, brave MouseHunter, for in this tower in the mist dwells an evil mouse known as the Acolyte. Only Runic cheese, made from runes collected in the Forbidden Grove, can attract the Acolyte, but be warned: few traps are capable of doing any significant damage to it once it is caught.

But. . . there may be hope yet. Legend tells of an island located far off the eastern coast of Gnawnia where a trap capable of defeating an Acolyte was once constructed. The General Store in the Catacombs sells blueprints that show how to build a seaworthy ship, should you wish to seek out the builders.

Shops

There are no shops available in the Acolyte Realm. Shops for the Bristle Woods region can be found in the Catacombs.
