The Ancient Gauntlet is a limited edition Physical weapon. It has the special property of causing Tier 1 mice to drop two, rather than one, Gauntlet Potion Tier 2 in the King's Gauntlet.

The Ancient Gauntlet is a limited edition weapon not sold by any Trapsmith, and is therefore non-refundable. It can only be acquired through the opening of a Season 1 Treasure Chest:
- Rare Easy and Easy Treasure Chest (Season 1)
- Rare Medium and Medium Treasure Chest (Season 1)
- Rare Hard and Hard Treasure Chest (Season 1)
- Rare Elaborate and Elaborate Treasure Chest (Season 1)
- Rare Arduous and Arduous Treasure Chest (Season 1)
- Rare Living Garden and Living Garden Treasure Chest (Season 1)
History and Trivia
- The Ancient Gauntlet was first introduced on 29 August 2012.
- The Ancient Gauntlet was retired on 14 January 2014 with the introduction of the Season 2 Treasure Chests. Any Season 1 Treasure Chests in a hunter's inventory after 14 January 2014 still have a chance of containing the Ancient Gauntlet trap.
