This mouse acts as the veins of the war - carrying the lifeblood of weapons, armor, water, and food to the battle front. An army is nothing without supplies. Failing to capture a Caravan Guard will undoubtedly strengthen the Marching Flame's forces.
Mouse ID#:

The Caravan Guard Mouse is a breed of mouse found in the Fiery Warpath location during Wave One, Wave Two and Wave Three. They are not known to drop any loot. No current trap types have an 'Effective' rating, but Physical, Hydro, and Tactical traps are 'Less Effective'.

Preferred Cheese

Caravan Guard Mice have no specific preference for any kind of cheese. In fact, they are known to have an aversion to SUPER|brie+ cheese, and are known to avoid traps baited with them.

Special Effect

When a player fails to capture a Caravan Guard Mouse, one of the following messages will appear on the Journal:<br\><br\>Either<br\><br\> Strength in numbers! After I failed to catch a Caravan Guard Mouse, members of my hunting party were able to prevent the mouse reinforcements from arriving!<br\><br\> OR<br\>

Failing to capture a Caravan Guard Mouse allowed reinforcements to arrive!
More mice have been added to the wave!

A minimum of one hunting party member is adequate in helping to prevent reinforcements from arriving. No matter how many members a hunter has in their hunting party, it is not a 100% guarantee that reinforcements will be prevented.

Hunting Strategy

Failure to catch a Caravan Guard Mouse carries a risk of increasing the number of mice remaining to be defeated. Hunters wishing to avoid this risk are advised to use SUPER|brie+ cheese, to minimize the possibility of encountering this mouse.

During Wave One, Caravan Guard Mice begin to retreat when there are 10 mice remaining in the troops to be defeated.
During Wave Two, Caravan Guard Mice begin to retreat when there are 18 mice remaining in the troops to be defeated.

History and Trivia

  • Caravan Guard Mice were introduced on 22 March 2011 with the release of the Sandtail Desert region.
