Child Online Safety

Many of you may not know, children from the age of 13 are allowed on FaceBook, which is the reason why MouseHunt promotes the "Family Friendly" status of the game and on its Discussion Boards.

The big old WWW is a great place to be but it does have many many evil's lurking especially for children. A research once made said anyone who is on a computer on the internet is only three clicks away from porn at any time, mainly via search engines. Although much progress has been made to make the accessibility harder for children to access this type of material, it is still in reality too easy.

Many horror stories have arisen out of chat room's and forum's over time concerning children and their safety, the danger is always present, and as such this page is here to provide some valuable information on keeping your children safe, both here on MouseHunt, on FaceBook and the internet as a whole.

As FaceBook forbids children under the age of 13, these sites on child safety online are primarily for over 13's, but each site does have sections on under 13's for external areas to FaceBook.
