The Deathbot (Chrome Edition), also known as the ChromeBot, is a Limited-Edition trap which, as of October 14, was only available during the Hunter's Reward Weekend of August 16-18, 2008. The availability of the trap coincided with the first appearance of Ronza's Traveling Shoppe, the Chromebot being the only item that Ronza was selling.

The ChromeBot is currently the second most powerful trap available to hunters, with a power of 2800. Its appearance is similar to the Mouse DeathBot but is entirely gold and silver plated, with a large necklace hanging from its head. The plate upon which the cheese is baited is also covered in gold.

The Chromebot has a Power Bonus of 20%, an Accuracy Bonus of 15%, and a luck factor of 30, giving it by far the largest luck factor of any trap in the game. However, its Cheese Effect is 'very negative', making it one of only two traps in the game with a 'very negative' Cheese Effect (the other being the Mouse Rocketine). The Chromebot was 512,800 gold to purchase and the hunter needed to have accumulated at least 136,500 points to be eligible to purchase the trap.
