This limited edition version of the classic DeathBot features shiny chrome-plated panels, with a lot o' bling. The motors have been tweaked a little to bring more power to the chain gun and saw blade, the laser power has been increased by 5 kilowatts, and the missile guidance system has been improved using the newest in mouse-seeking technology.

The DeathBot (Chrome Edition), also known as the ChromeBot, is a Limited-Edition trap which, as of 4 March 2009, was only available during the Hunter's Reward Weekend of 16-18 August 2008. The availability of the trap coincided with the first appearance of Ronza's Traveling Shoppe, this being the only item that Ronza was selling.

The DeathBot (Chrome Edition) is currently the fifth most powerful trap available to hunters, with a power of 2800, surpassed by the PartyBot, Arcane Capturing Rod Of Never Yielding Mystery, Digby Drillbot and Ambush traps. However, it is first in luck, with a luck factor of 30. Its appearance is similar to the Mouse DeathBot but is entirely chrome plated, with a large necklace hanging from its head. The plate upon which the cheese is baited is covered in gold.
