Dressed in festive rabbit attire, this mouse happily marches through the New Years parade. The long ears and cheerful demeanor of the costume also make quite an effective means of fooling hunters into thinking this is not a mouse at all.
Mouse ID#: 296

The Costumed Rabbit mouse is a breed of mouse that can be found in the Year of the Dragon Festival. They are known to drop Dragon Breath Potion, Lucky Rabbit Charms and Satchels of Gold, worth 2,000 gold, as loot.

Preferred Cheese

Costumed Rabbit mice have no known specific preference for any kind of cheese.

Hunting Strategy

Nitropop Charms must be armed in order to attract this mouse. Hunters are advised to use their strongest and luckiest trap available to them for this rare adversary, in order to prevent this elusive mouse from getting away from their trap in the event that they encounter one.

History and Trivia

  • Costumed Rabbit mice were released on 10 February 2011 as part of the Heart of the Rabbit event. They could be found in the Town of Gnawnia and Training Grounds and dropped Lucky Rabbit Charms and Rabbit Mask as loot.
  • The amount of points (1,888) and gold (888) awarded on catching a Costumed Rabbit mouse reflects the belief of the number eight being considered "lucky" in Chinese culture; a sequence of a "lucky" number is considered even more favorable!
  • Costumed Rabbit mice were re-released on 23 January 2012 as part of the Year of the Dragon Festival. It was during this event that the use of Nitropop Charms to attract them was introduced.
