Fort Rox Portal Projector
With the console and the core combined, this powerful artifact will allow one hunter to enter the Heart of the Meteor at Fort Rox for an extra challenge!
The projector emits a bright light in the shape of a strange door-like portal. Once traversed, the projector burns out and only a ruined husk remains.
Acquiring a Fort Rox Portal Projector
Hunters must complete a Fort Rox Treasure Map to obtain a Fort Rox Treasure Chest or Rare Fort Rox Treasure Chest which could reward a Fort Rox Portal Console, and a Fort Rox Portal Core. Togeter with 100 Dawn Dust these two items can be traded in the Fort Rox Cartographer to obtain a Fort Rox Portal Projector.
Hunters can view their stock of Fort Rox Portal Projectors from the Special tab of their inventory under Equipment.
Use of a Fort Rox Portal Projector
Hunters must have a Fort Rox Portal Projector to enter the Heart of the Meteor.
Fort Rox Portal Projectors are single use and Hunters must purchase a new one each time they wish to enter the Heart of the Meteor.
After entering the Heart of the Meteor the following message is displayed in the hunters' journal:
- The Fort Rox Portal Projector roared into life!
- When the blinding ball of coruscating energy faded, I found myself transported into the Heart of the Meteor.
- In this impossibly brilliant place, the blindingly bright avatar of the meteor itself awaits in her shell.
- Only Sunrise Cheese has any hope of attracting her attention...
- I turned off my Mage Tower, as it would have no effect here.
A Ruined Portal Projector is rewarded each time you use a Fort Rox Portal Projector. Hunters can view their stock of Ruined Portal Projectors from the Inventory tab of their inventory under Collectibles.
