Passing Parcels were introduced during the Great Winter Hunt 2013. A parcel convertible is initially obtained by a friend purchasing a parcel via the Festive Gift Shoppe for 50,000 gold, where the recipient has to open their daily gifts to add the parcel to their Special inventory. Upon opening a convertible parcel, a hunter may obtain charms or other items to keep, or may obtain a Passing Parcel Collectible. The collectible has a message suggesting that the hunter pass the parcel along; also, during the Great Winter Hunt, a box appeared on the hunter's profile page reminding "You have X unmailed Passing Parcels!". If the hunter clicks on the link from the collectible description or the profile page, they are then taken to the Give To Friends page, where every collectible that they transfer to a friend is in turn received by the friend as a convertible, thus continuing the cycle.
