This base has been baked in the oven for just the right amount of time to make it a lightly toasted, chewy wonder. After taking it out of the oven, Santa's elves dusted the base with a sprinkling of powdered sugar and then decorated it with a festive star pattern and multi-colored gumdrops. Unfortunately, they also left it out on the counter where the mice could walk all over it. Now that it's unsuitable to give as a gift, you might as well put a trap on top of it.




The Gingerbread Base is a base available only through crafting. First available during The Great Winter Hunt '09, its stats are comparable to those of the Polar Base. While the Polar Base is superior when used with most weapons, the Gingerbread Base favors weapons with low power. Used with the Swiss Army Mouse Trap, both bases result in identical trap statistics.

Purchasing Info

The Gingerbread Base is not sold by any Trapsmith and is thus non-refundable. It can only be crafted given the proper ingredients.

Note: The ingredients to craft the Gingerbread Base can not be bought directly, but must be gifted to you by another player, or obtained as loot from Festive mice. Also, while Masters are able to craft the base, there is a chance that crafting may fail. Thus, it is suggested that players wait until they reach the level of Grandmaster (or above) before crafting this base.

History and Trivia

The Gingerbread Base was introduced on 9 December 2009, when hunters found that Gingerbread Base Blueprints were being dropped by the Ornament Mouse in the Festive Comet right after the Gingerbread House Surprise was released. Soon after the blueprints were released, Christmas Tree Mouse also started dropping both the Gingerbread Base Blueprints and Gingerbread House Plans.
