Finding Hunter's Profiles

There are a number of methods of finding your hunter's profile. The most common is by clicking on the MouseHunt shield (just above where it tells your rank). However, there are other methods of finding not only your own, but your friends' and other hunters' profiles.

  • Hunting Group
Go to your Hunting Group page (simply by clicking on the 'Friends'-Button)
You will get a list of all your friends that have the MouseHunt application installed which is by default sorted by last activity.
Clicking on a hunter's name gets you to their profile. You also have the option to 'Give Supplies' or 'Send a Message' to their Facebook Wall.
You can sort them by 'Location' when clicking the respective tab and choosing from a drop-down menu.
To find a certain friend, click the 'Search'-tab and start typing their name into the search box. This will produce a drop-down list depending on how specific you were. Then click on their name (arrow-key navigation is also possible) and then 'Submit' (or hit Return/Enter twice) to get their main stats.
  • Through the Scoreboard
Go to 'Lore' > 'Scoreboard'
In the 2 tabs you can either search for hunter's within your friends' list or among all players by typing their name in the respective search box. Then just click on their name and you'll get to their hunter's profile.
You can also do this for your own hunter's profile – but it does take longer.
  • By URL manipulation
Go to the Facebook profile page of the hunter in question
In the URL bar, copy the numbers that come after the id= query string. If the Facebook ID has been hidden by a username, it can be similarly extracted by copying the "Report/block this person" link.
Append this number to end of the root URL: https://www.mousehuntgame.com/profile.php?snuid=
This can also be done to the gifting page and supply transfer page with the following root URLs: https://www.mousehuntgame.com/gift.php?snuid= and
https://www.mousehuntgame.com/supplytransfer.php?fid= respectively.

Trick-or-Treating

During the 2010 Halloween Trick AND Treat Event, it was possible to visit a friend's profile to do Trick-or-Treating once per day, to get six more pieces of event-specific cheese. Each hunter could visit their own profile and choose whether they would give out Tricks (Ghoulgonzola cheese) or Treats (Candy Corn cheese) to any visitors. Hunters were limited to visiting ten friend's profiles for Trick-or-Treating per day.

For the 2011 Halloween at the Haunted Terrortories Event and again for Halloween 2012, Trick-or-Treating was available once more but awarded hunters with three pieces of event-specific cheese per Trick or Treat. In addition, up to 10 Halloween Candy could also be collected from friends' Trick-or-Treat profiles per day, as well as up to 5 Cobwebs over the entire event from friends that have not played in a long time.

Wishing Well

During the 2010 King's Giveaway Event, it was possible to visit a friend's profile to toss one Lucky Coin into the Wishing Well per day, giving both the giver and receiver 3 more Prize Power. If the friend has 5 or less Prize Power, then the prize power changes by 5. Hunters are limited to visiting ten Wishing Wells per day.

Egg Hunt

During the Spring Egg Hunt 2011 Event, it was possible to visit a friend's profile to get a Sharing Egg, Friendly Egg, or Caring Egg, if the hunter did not already have one.

Great Winter Hunt 2011

During the Great Winter Hunt 2011 Event, it was possible to visit up to five friend's profiles per day to provide a help item. The possible items to receive are Christmas Coal, Festive Feta, Toy Screw, Toy Spring, and Toy Wood, selectable by the recipient from their own profile page. For each friend helped, a hunter is rewarded with one Ice Coin.

Each hunter's profile also displayed a tree under which friends could leave a gift. These gifts could not be claimed until the Grand Gift Opening Ceremony. Hunters could view their gifts from their own profile page and could also 'shake' the gifts, which resulted in a randomly generated message:

I Wonder What's Inside?

  • Shake shake shake...
Absolutely mystifying.
  • Shake shake shake...
Maybe if I smell it...
Sniff sniff sniff...
Hm, no odour.
  • Shake shake shake...
No idea what that sounds like.
  • Squish squish squish...
Wait, what?
  • Shake shake crash!
...Uh-oh.
It'll probably be okay.
  • Shake shake shake...
Sounds like it has lots of parts!
  • Thump thump thump...
Whoah, it's pretty heavy.

Valentine's Day 2012

During the Valentine's Day 2012 event, it was possible to leave anonymous Secret Admirer Gifts at a Hunter's profile. The recipient and gifter did not need to be friends.

Great Winter Hunt 2012

During the Great Winter Hunt 2012 Event, it was possible to leave a gift at a friend's profile. These gifts could not be claimed until the Grand Gift Opening Ceremony on 25 December. Hunters could view their gifts from their own profile page and could also 'shake' the gifts, which resulted in a randomly generated message:
