This trap offers mice the thrill of the open ocean, with a great piece of cheese and the wind blowing through their fur... of course, they'll also have a giant, grabby squid to keep them company. With eight arms and two tentacles contending for the catch, this trap just has to get the mouse one way or the other. It's also a favorite of humane hunters, as the squid much prefers to eat fish.

The Kraken Chaos is a Hydro weapon from Ronza's Traveling Shoppe during her October 2009 visit. It is meant to be an improvement over the Net Cannon/Harpoon Gun decision, sacrificing bonuses for power and attraction, but is slightly behind the Ancient Spear Gun. In current areas, the Kraken is estimated to perform just slightly worse than the Ancient Spear Gun.

To date, this is the most expensive weapon that Ronza has been selling.

The Kraken Chaos is special in the regard of being the only Hydro weapon available before entering the S.S. Huntington II location and that for extremely useful for hunters trying to catch the Hydra with the Ship Blueprints.

It is one of 3 weapons without a power or attraction bonus, the others being the RhinoBot and the Bottomless Grave.

Purchasing Info

The Kraken Chaos was available for 860,000 gold from Ronza's Traveling Shoppe during her October 2009 visit. It refunded for 154,800 gold at the same location.

Trap Effectiveness

The Kraken Chaos, being a Hydro type weapon, is known to be very effective against Hydro type mice. It also performs with normal effectiveness against physical mice, and is less effective against all other power types.
