The original purpose of the Laboratory was to research the minor mouse problem Gnawnia was having. A few less than ethical experiments soon gave rise to new breeds of mice altogether. Now overrun with the very mice it spawned, few hunters dare to step foot on its grounds.

The Laboratory is a location in the Burroughs region requiring a minimum rank of Master and the Laboratory Map Piece to enter.
Mice in the Laboratory can steal gold, points, and cheese if not caught.
Mice in the Laboratory are weak to all Power Types.
Radioactive Blue Cheese Potions are dropped by mice in the Laboratory.

Laboratory Mice

All of the mice found in the Laboratory are part of the Indigenous Mice group and are weak to all Power Types.

Cheese Preference and Loot

Standard Cheese attracts almost all mice in the Lagoon.
SUPER|brie+ or Radioactive Blue Cheese is required to attract the Black Widow Mouse.
Radioactive Blue Cheese is required to attract the Monster Mouse.

Mice with Special Requirements

Hunting Strategy

Mice in the Laboratory are weak to all Power Types.

All mice, except the Monster Mouse, are attracted to Standard Cheese or SUPER|brie+. The Monster Mouse is only attracted to Radioactive Blue Cheese.

The Laboratory is the primary place for finding the Radioactive Blue Cheese Potions which are used to create Radioactive Blue Cheese. Radioactive Blue Cheese is required to attract certain mice in the Mousoleum and the Bristle Woods region.

Hunters that find the Key to the Town of Digby in the Laboratory will be able to travel to the Town of Digby.

Adventure Book

Hunters can Find a Way Out of the Laboratory by catching a Dwarf Mouse in the Laboratory to obtain the Key to the Town of Digby.

Hunters can begin the Survive the Mousoleum adventure by getting Radioactive Blue Cheese or Moon Cheese.

Library Assignments

Laboratory mice are worth points during some Tournaments.

Treasure Maps

Many mice in the Laboratory are often found on Mousoleum Treasure Maps and Relic Hunter Treasure Maps.

Hunting tips by Larry

Welcome to the remains of the Laboratory, brave MouseHunter!

Years ago the King built this laboratory to research the unusual changes in Gnawnian mice. Unfortunately, a few of their experiments went wrong, flooding the area with even more monstrous rodents. The laboratory contains many mysteries, including that of the scientists who disappeared from here long ago...

A Dwarf mouse has been reported to be carrying the key to a secret mobile research facility. Hunt this Dwarf and acquire the key to a new hunting ground, as well as some new experimental traps!

A few of the mice here have also stolen vials of radioactive waste. This glowing goo is left over from experiments in creating more powerful forms of bait. It might be worth the effort to save some of these vials to see if they work the way the scientists intended...
