Hunters can also activate a time-limited trap aura(s) for +5 luck, these include the [[A-MAZE-ing Aura]] from the [[Labyrinth Puzzle Box Event]], [[Chrome Aura]] from opening a [[Chrome Treasure Chest]], [[Slayer Aura]] from opening a [[Slayer Treasure Chest]] and [[Winter Aura]] from the [Great Winter Hunt]]. Luck is a trap stat that gives hunters a chance of catching a mouse even if it would have normally gotten away. Aside from power, a trap's luck rating also provides a chance to catch a mouse purely from luck. Luck does not affect the attraction of mice.

Luck scales nonlinearly, meaning that it is more effective as the amount of luck increases. For example, 8 luck is more than twice as effective as 4 luck.

Changes in catch rate due to luck are not reflected in the trap effectiveness meter.

Increasing Luck

Donating will provide a hunter with a Lucky Golden Shield, granting +7 luck, regardless of location or trap equipped.

Various Events have offered increased luck.
