Greetings, hunters! Today we are bringing you some awesome new quality-of-life updates! We have updated the look and feel of the Hunter's Horn and improved the flow while traveling!
A New Horn is Here!
We have updated the look and feel of the Hunter's Horn with high-definition images, improved animation, bulletin board messaging, and an improved location display! Sound your horn now to take it for a spin!

We have also introduced some minor quality-of-life improvements to traveling! On browser, when you travel you will now get a popup letting you know that you have reached your new location as well as a button to take you straight to Camp!
Travel on BrowserOn mobile, we'll be introducing a similar change as part of the next app update!
Smelly Sodium Base Updates
New research into the Smelly Sodium Base has unlocked additional effects!After being exposed to an immense amount of salt, the base's layers have peeled back to reveal an infinitely dense salty core within! When catching mice with any Salt Charm in the Sand Crypts, the salt level will be increased by an additional +1 salt.
Smelly Sodium Base now adds +1 salt level in the Sand Crypts when any Salt Charm is consumed!

The Winter Hunt Advent Calendar
A dose of festive spirit can be felt in the air which can only mean one thing: The Great Winter Hunt is nearly here! With the year's most festive event on the horizon, the tradition of the Winter Hunt Advent calendar is posed to start. From December 1 to December 24 hunters will be able to open a door on the Advent Calendar to find rewards.
Opening a door on the Advent Calendar will always reward an Advent Chocolate which you'll be able to exchange during the Great Winter Hunt for various trap skins and other unique rewards.
If you open a door on the same day that it unlocks, you'll also receive a special bonus reward in addition to your Advent Chocolate. Bonus rewards include several familiar favourites such as Festive Ultimate Luck Charms, Rare Map Dust, and SUPER|brie+ to name a few. As with every year, there are also a few new rewards to find!
Make sure to check in each day from December 1 to December 24 to see what bonus item the Advent Calendar has!
Keep an eye on the camp section to access the Advent Calendar each dayWhen the time comes, a banner will appear in the camp section if you have a reward to claim from the Advent Calendar. You'll find the banner above your journal if you're playing from a web browser or at the bottom of the camp section if you're playing from the mobile app.

With the changing of the season an especially chilly blast of arctic air can be felt rolling over the North Rodentia Ocean. This suspicious cold front prompted the King to send an expedition of researchers to investigate the sudden and drastic drop in temperature. To their surprise the researchers discovered a mountainous outcrop of giant cinnamon trees growing out of the snow-covered ground!
The researchers deduced that these colossal cinnamon trees are in fact the primary source of the powerful new fuel that was discovered during last year's Great Winter Hunt: Compressed Cinnamon! This potent and efficient resource is infinitely renewable, burns perfectly clean, and releases a pleasantly sweet aroma to boot! This massive stockpile of Compressed Cinnamon will no doubt be a tremendous boon to the Kingdom's energy production.
However, the researchers reported another discovery much more sinister and unsettling than the first. Far off in the distance they witnessed a massive construction of snow and jagged ice that appears to be the origin of the unnaturally chilling arctic breeze that is spreading throughout the Kingdom. The King's researchers are now en route to investigate this frigid and foreboding structure and will report back soon.

Quality of life improvements, faster adventure progression, and more resources!
Meteorites Galore!
The mining mice inhabiting the area of Fort Rox are digging deeper into the meteor than ever before! As such, some of the mice are now carrying up to three times as many meteorite pieces! Hunters will now be able to upkeep their fortress wall and craft nighttime baits much more efficiently.
In addition to more meteorite pieces, the mice have been mining an abundance of other resources as well such as more Howlite, Tower Mana, and even Moon Cheese!
Weaker mice and better cheese!
Distracted by their newfound wealth, the Fort Rox mice have let their guard down so Hunters will find that they are now almost twice as easy to catch, even without any Ballista or Cannon upgrades!
Additionally, the new and improved Crescent Cheese is now irresistible to the mice in the area so it will never fail to attract! Meanwhile, the more refined taste of Moon Cheese will attract high-value mice even more often than before!
Crescent Cheese now has a 100% attraction rate and Moon Cheese now attracts even more valuable mice!Finally, Larry has realized some new efficiencies within his Fortress Building Blueprints™, which should cut down on construction costs for any Hunters looking to build new Fort upgrades!

The new Relic Hunter season brings with it updates to Community Map filtering and unique seasonal rewards.
So gather your relics, assemble your treasure hunting team, and prepare for adventure!
Community Map Listing Updates
Community Maps that have reached the maximum number of invite requests will now be removed from the Community Map Listing. So you can now send requests confidently knowing the map owner will see it!
There's still plenty we want to do with the Community Maps feature. Look forward to our continued effort in improving how hunters interact with map listings in future updates!
Seasonal Rewards
We've created some new and unique Limited Edition bases this year as Seasonal Rewards for the most dedicated map hunters!
Smelly Sodium BaseThe highly unstable metallic alloy that was used to construct this base produces a bizarre chemical reaction when exposed to massive amounts of sodium chloride. When completely enveloped by salt, the outer layers of this base will begin to corrode and that process releases a noxious gas that oddly smells exactly like a Grub Scent Charm!

As always, your chances of receiving the LE Seasonal Reward bases in a Relic Hunter treasure chest increase as you open more chests. Rare treasure chests will provide an even higher chance! Once you've opened 30 Relic Hunter treasure chests, you will have a 100% chance to receive the Seasonal Rewards. So get out there and start mapping!

Your email will be kept private and you will only receive MouseHunt related content. Updating the email associated with your MouseHunt account while subscribed will also update where your newsletters will be delivered.

The Magic of the Cauldrons is Beginning to Fade...
The brave hunters of Gnawnia have been successful in warding off Baba Gaga and her evil minions! They've managed to rid the Gloomy Greenwood of all its foul ingredients! Now that the wicked witch is on the run, the magic that keeps her cauldrons brewing is starting to fade! Her hut along with her minions will soon depart the Gloomy Greenwood.
There are two stages to the shutdown of the Boiling Cauldron event to help hunters to maximize their event rewards. The details of the two stages are outlined below.
November 2 to November 9, 2022
Brew as much Evil Extract as you can during this week!As of November 2, 2022, all the mice in the Gloomy Greenwood will no longer drop any ingredients including Mousedrake Root.
Since the mice are no longer dropping ingredients, Insidious Incense will no longer work in the Gloomy Greenwood.
Any ingredients that you've already collected can still be brewed and everything else will remain unchanged.
To speed up the cash-out process, these exchanges have been made available at the Gloomy Greenwood Apothecary (General Store):
