The Minotaur Base can be crafted after collecting loot from the Retired Minotaur, and has a special effect in the Labyrinth location.

Using this base inside of the Labyrinth has a chance of preventing a Dead End Clue from confusing your Labyrinth Compass during an unsuccessful hunt.
