Mice with Special Requirements
+
*Relic Hunter Mouse – This mouse visits the Nerg Plains on an irregular basis. It does not consume cheese or charms. Hunters must have an Ancient Relic in their inventory to attract this mouse. The Ancient Relic will be taken by the Relic Hunter Mouse in exchange for a Relic Hunter Scroll Case.
+
*M400 – This mouse will sometimes be available in Nerg Plains when Hunters are actively working an M400 Hunting Research Assignment. It is attracted only to Fusion Fondue which will not attract any other mice. It drops a wide variety of loot.

Hunters must hunt with Standard Cheese (Gouda has the best attraction rate) or SB in order to obtain Savoury Vegetables which are required for crafting Gumbo Cheese.
+
Gumbo Cheese is required to attract the mice that drop Yellow Pepper Seeds that are necessary for crafting the cheeses required to attract mice in the Jungle of Dread and Dracano.

Cheese Usage
+
Standard Cheese attracts all mice in the Nerg Plains, except the Nerg Chieftain, Defender, Slayer, and Black Widow mice.
SUPER brie+ and Gouda should be used if you are looking for Savoury Vegetables, though Brie can also be used with some success. Gumbo should be used if you are looking for Yellow Pepper Seed and the Ancient Ripped Blueprint.
+
Gouda Cheese has the best attraction rate of the Standard Cheeses and it will not attract the Chameleon Mouse.
+
SB is required to attract the Black Widow Mouse and attracts all other mice in the Nerg Plains, except the Nerg Chieftain, Defender, Slayer, and Chameleon mice.
+
Gumbo Cheese attracts the Nerg Chieftain, Defender, and Slayer mice.
Chameleon Mice can occasionally be encountered in Nerg Plains when not using Gouda or SUPER|brie+.
+
Hunters interested in building the Ancient Box Trap will need to arm Gumbo Cheese to attract the Nerg Chieftain Mouse, which drops the Ancient Ripped Blueprint Piece.

Hunting tips by Larry
+
Location-Specific Effects
Oh, it’s you! I can barely see you over the tall grass! The terrain here makes it quite easy to hide, something the mice of the Nerg Tribe take full advantage of. It's not uncommon for the Nerg to spring an ambush and pillage your supplies of cheese.
+
Charms
+
* The Nerg Power Charm provides +600 power and a 5% power bonus when hunting in the Nerg Plains.
+
Traps
+
* The Isle Idol Stakeshooter Skin is a limited edition skin that converts the power type of the Isle Idol Trap to Tactical and gives double Savoury Vegetables drops in the Nerg Plains.
+
Bases
+
*The Tiki Base provides a +6 luck bonus when hunting in Nerg Plains.
+
*The Tribal Kaboom Base (limited edition) may increase the quantity of Savoury Vegetables and Yellow Pepper Seeds dropped as loot by mice in the Nerg Plains.
+

+
Adventure Book
+
Hunters can complete steps to Defeat the Tribe Chieftains by using Gumbo Cheese in the Nerg Plains to catch the Nerg Chieftain Mouse.
+

+
Hunters can complete steps to Defeat the Dreaded Horde and Slay the Dragon Mouse by locating the source of Yellow Pepper Seeds in the Nerg Plains.
+

+
Library Assignments
+
*M400 Hunting Research Assignment - This assignment may require collecting 1 Piece of M400 Intel from mice in the Nerg Plains and/or capture the M400.

Members of the Nerg Tribe mostly keep to themselves, but are very territorial. They attack enemy tribes or hunters the moment they step foot on their corner of the island. To be successful hunting here you will need either Gouda or SUPER|brie+ as bait, along with a strong Tactical weapon.
+
Tournaments
+
Nerg Plains mice are worth points during some Tournaments.

It seems the Nerg enjoy farming. They often carry batches of unique Savoury Vegetables, which they combine with Curds and Whey over heat to make a gooey mess called Gumbo Cheese. I do not recommend eating any yourself, as most humans have a hard time smelling it, let alone keeping it down. The Nerg leaders are the most territorial of all, so don’t equip your Gumbo Cheese lightly!
+
Treasure Maps
+
Mice in the Nerg Plains are often found on Tribal Isles Treasure Maps, Tribal and Shelder Hunt Treasure Maps, and Relic Hunter Treasure Maps.

Now MouseHunter, bait your trap, lay low in the tall grass and keep your nose keen for the scent of Savoury Vegetables!

Hunting tips by Larry

Oh, it's you! I can barely see you over the tall grass! The terrain here makes it quite easy to hide, something the mice of the Nerg Tribe take full advantage of. It's not uncommon for the Nerg to spring an ambush and pillage your supplies of cheese.

The Nerg leaders are the most territorial of all, so don't equip your Gumbo Cheese lightly!

Now MouseHunter, bait your trap, lay low in the tall grass and keep your nose keen for the scent of Savoury Vegetables!

Shops

There are no shops available in the Nerg Plains. Shops for the Tribal Isles region can be found in Cape Clawed.

History and Trivia

The names of three locations in the Tribal Isles are roughly the tribes' colours backwards. Nerg Plains takes its name after the colour 'green', and the Nerg tribe mice wear green clothes.
