Patch Notes for December 9, 2022

We've increased the collection rate of Golem Parts and also adjusted which mice can appear on Nice and Naughty List Treasure Maps. We understand that changing details of an event after it begins can cause frustration, especially for hunters who recently opened a map. Thank you for your understanding!

For context on what prompted the need for map changes: Late during the event's development and playtesting an issue unrelated to Treasure Maps resulted in many mice needing to have their encounter rates and roles adjusted. At the time these changes were made Treasure Maps had already been put together and we neglected to revisit maps to take into account the changes to various mice.

We will continue to keep a close eye on feedback from players and suggestions for how we can approach Treasure Maps in 2023 should the Great Winter Hunt have a similar format. Your input, suggestions, and ideas are always great inspiration.

Golem Part Drop Changes

  • Increased drop rate of all Golem Parts in Cinnamon Hill, Golem Workshop, and Ice Fortress

Nice List Updates

  • Going forward, the following mice will no longer appear on Nice List Treasure Maps
    • The Great Giftnapper Mouse
    • Ol' King Coal Mouse
  • Going forward, the Toy Tinkerer Mouse can now appear on Nice List Treasure Maps

Naughty List Updates

  • Going forward, the following mice will no longer appear on Naughty List Treasure Maps
    • Double Black Diamond Racer
    • Free Skiing Mouse
    • Iceberg Sculptor Mouse
  • Going forward, Toy Tinkerer, Borean Commander, and Glacia Ice Fist mice can now appear on Naughty List Treasure Maps
  • Going forward, Naughty Lists will now contain one fewer mouse from the Ice Fortress and one additional mouse from the Golem Workshop

Note: Mice which no longer appear on maps cannot be removed or marked as captured on maps that were opened before this change was applied. As of this patch note's posting, newly opened maps will reflect these changes.
