MouseHunt is a passive game that is meant as something fun to check every 15 minutes while surfing the web, browsing profiles or doing some work. MouseHunt is not a ’sit and watch‘ type of game, but rather a ’come back and check your progress later‘ game.

The scoreboard allows you to check your progress against other players of the game.

How to use

The scoreboard is displayed when selecting it from a drop down list after you press the Lore button located on top banner on the right side.

If you are interested in seeing your score by selecting the Friend Stats link. You can get back to seeing everyone's score by selecting the All Stats link.

You can search for other player's scores by entering their name in the search text box and selecting the Search button.

To quickly view your own scoreboard rank, both by Points and Gold, navigate to the Hunting Group Page, find your own name and click on the Green Arrows next to your Points/Gold, You make also "Seek" other players in your Hunting Group in this manner.

Information Displayed

  • Golden Shield - The MouseHunt developers recognize players that have donated money to purchase SUPER brie+. All donors are given a golden shield next to their name to signify their donation. Players need only donate once to receive their golden shield.
  • A Pile of Cash - Means that the player is a prize winner.
  • Shield - Shields indicate a Hunter's Title.
  • Rank - This is your position compared to other played. A lower number is better.
  • Name - This is the profile name of the player. Clicking on the name will display their profile. To the left of the name the scoreboard will display an icon that represents the Hunter's Title.
  • Points - This is the default criteria for determining rank. Each mouse caught is worth a specific number of points.
  • Gold - By selecting the Gold link, the scoreboard will rank players by wealth.
  • Mice - By selecting the Mice link, the scoreboard will rank players by the number of mice caught. A player could move up this ranking by trying to catch mice that are easier to catch even if they are worth less points.
  • Heaviest Catch - Mice come in different sizes. By selecting the Heaviest Catch link, the scoreboard will rank players by the size of the largest mouse that they have caught.

Usage

Chasing a higher position on the scoreboard can add another dimension to the MouseHunt game. Some players set a goal to be one of the top 10,000 players and when they achieve that they set a new goal with a lower number. Other players use the scoreboard to having bragging rights among their circle of friends on who is the best mouse hunter.
