Overview

Scroll Case is a type of Special items.

These items are shown under Special inventory tab, Adventuring Items sub-tab.

Each Scroll Case contain 1 Treasure Map. For Scroll Case with multiple possible maps, the conditions to get each map are available in the individual map pages.

Opening a Scroll Case has a chance to produce 1 Rare Map Dust.

Scroll Case types

The Scroll Cases can be divided to 3 types, corresponding to 3 types of Treasure Maps:

• Non-event Scroll Cases contain maps that require catching non-event mice.
• Event Scroll Cases contain maps that require catching event mice.
• Sealed Wanted Poster contains Wanted Posters.

M1000 Team Research Expedition Scroll Case	Contained within this scroll case is an extensive list of some of the most powerful, dangerous, and infamous mice in the Kingdom of Gnawnia. The list was composed by the Mythweaver himself during the research and development phase of his work on designing the mighty M1000. Completing this challenging map is the first step towards hunting the M1000 and unlocking the secrets of an extremely powerful aura: the Millenniaura! Scavenger Hunt Scroll Case	A scroll case sealed with a royal purple ribbon, a sign of the King. This list contains myriad items that are desired by the crown. Those that find the items will be rewarded handsomely! You must be at least a Legendary hunter in order to open this scroll case. Event Scroll Cases

Event Scroll Cases — Redeemable Maps

These Scroll Cases are often found at the Event Cartographers.

Maps in these scroll cases (found after the Season 3 map update of 23 June 2015) can be cashed out if they are started and remain unfinished after the end of an event.

The rewards for incomplete maps can only be obtained after the event ends. The Map Captain may activate Consolation Mode, allowing each participant to claim a consolation reward. The rewards include gold, points, and Ancient Charms based on how complete the map is when redeemed. If the map has been dusted, the Rare Map Dust will not be returned to the Hunter that dusted the map, even if that Hunter is no longer on the map, but the consolation items rewarded will be increased.
