History and Trivia

  • 2 December 2011: The Snowflake Mouse was painted live during an 'All about the art' Feedback Friday. Ideas and suggestions for how the mouse should look were provided by the audience at the time of painting.
  • 7 December 2011: The Snowflake Mouse was released as part of the Great Winter Hunt 2011 event, with this description:
Light as a feather, the elusive Snowflake mouse can be seen drifting with the strong winter wind, using it as a means of easy Kingdom-wide conveyance. In their travels, Snowflake Mice commonly pickup various knick knacks and odd ends they find laying in the winter snow. Their love of shiny objects can, however, be used to a hunter's advantage -- place a magical Winter Charm by your bait and a Snowflake Mouse may visit to investigate your trap.
  • 21-24 December 2012: The Snowflake Mouse dropped double the normal Ice Coins.
  • 10 December 2013: The Snowflake Mouse's description was changed for the Great Winter Hunt 2013, reflecting the change in requirement for any specific cheese. The previous description read:
Light as a feather, the elusive Snowflake mouse can be seen drifting with the strong winter wind, using it as a means of easy Kingdom-wide conveyance. In their travels, Snowflake Mice commonly pickup various knick knacks and odd ends they find laying in the winter snow. Their love of shiny objects can, however, be used to a hunter's advantage -- use SUPER|brie+ or Festive Feta and a Snowflake Mouse may visit to investigate your trap. Better yet, place a magical Winter Charm next to your bait to find more Ice Coins upon capturing one!
  • 15 December 2015: The description was changed to add the following text:
While racing down the toboggan courses, use a Winter Charm to attract the Snowflake Mouse who drops Toboggan Nitro when caught!
  • 13 December 2016: The points/gold for Snowflake Mouse were changed.
