:::It's best to keep all these player given nicknames, abbreviations and what-not off the article, including the Trivia section. The question is, how do you even determine which nickname becomes the most used? Because one guy posted 10 posts about it? There isn't a good objective way to determine so, because everyone has their own way of naming things, be it keeping to the original name or coming up with a nickname or an abbreviation. Next, if you allow one, then the next nickname/abbreviation is as good as the earlier, are we going to put in all of them in? It can get very messy if all sorts of names are included. To avoid all of this, a less contentious and neater way is to include the nickname/abbreviation into the Jargon article, which is linked from the Main Page. -- Grexx 04:47, 25 December 2009 (UTC)

Nickname

My thought on this: Rather than changing the page ever hour or so, depending upon whomever is editing at that moment, why do we all not wait for a week or so and see which nickname becomes the most used, and then added it to the wiki?--niehusa 01:58, 25 December 2009 (UTC)

I thought the general consensus was to not include nicknames in the main pages. There is a separate page for that. --Hyperchao 03:16, 25 December 2009 (UTC)
CDDB is not a nickname, it's an abbreviation. I think we shouldn't include the abbreviations. I further think that we should not include nicknames within the introductory paragraph, but they may be included in the Trivia. -- Camomiletea 03:37, 25 December 2009 (UTC)
It's best to keep all these player given nicknames, abbreviations and what-not off the article, including the Trivia section. To avoid all of this, a less contentious and neater way is to include the nickname/abbreviation into the MouseHunt Jargon article, which is linked from the Main Page. -- Grexx 04:47, 25 December 2009 (UTC)
Latest trivia update talks about a forum war; since I was unsure of its status as trivia, I have not removed it, but should it be taken off or expounded upon? -- Denunciator 10:42, 26 December 2009 (UTC)
