Combined Trap Statistics for Skins

I personally do not want to include an entry for each skinned weapon, especially if they keep releasing more of them. I even think that on the Traps page the skinned weapons should be listed separately, or simply include a link to this page. Another option would be to somehow group the links to the skinned weapons with the original (so that they appear on the same row), but without abbreviations/small text I'm not sure how well that would work. I was going to update the Base stats with the new weapons from the winter 2010 event but I see that someone has already taken the time to include the skinned weapon so let's discuss. --Hyperchao 22:03, 29 December 2010 (UTC)

I don't like the cluttered weapons table as it appears right now either. So i second your notion of separating, removing or incorporating... would need to think a bit about it though what I'd prefer. ____m. 01:02, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
Since the statistics are the same - I would prefer to have less clutter and remove the skin traps. Perhaps just a section on the skins available for each trap on the trap page - and a redirect in case someone searches on a skin name to the trap page. Less is more in this case. -- Ralphminer 04:32, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
I vote removing the Skins from the Combined Trap Statistics table. On the Traps page, I'm leaning toward a separate section, because as this Trap Skin article is right now it doesn't seem to be very useful in terms of information on Traps. - camomiletea 04:34, 31 December 2010 (UTC)

Standard image

Please remember that just like traps, the standard skin image should be with wooden base and no cheese. I fixed all the images for which I have skins today, but lack enough tourney tokens to have tourney skins. I saw four of the six images there that still have issues (some used golden instead of wooden, and some have cheese armed). -- ericb talkcontr 23:26, 11 November 2012 (UTC)

The images are layered now, it is possible to get only the trap image without a base. I pertsonally think it looks better. Example: https://www.mousehuntgame.com/images/items/weapons/trap_small/3a0eae480a0b7d5fbf805e8774ce9755.png?cv=214 TrevorvL 19:12, 9 December 2014 (UTC)
I'm not opposed to linking to the layer images - especially since it is a mousehunt resource so we aren't relying on external sites like imgur. But the small image is just that - capturing the trap picture to facebook still gives a larger resolution image, and it is those larger resolution images where I still can't figure out how to get at a direct mousehunt resource. Maybe we expand our template to give two links - the direct layer and the external larger resolution? -- ericb talkcontr 19:32, 9 December 2014 (UTC)
