Don't complain to the devs if they do not occur every hour on the hour, as they're not designed to work that way (even though sometimes it works out nicely that way), and your complaints will only make you look foolish. Instead, if you think that there truly is a problem with the quantity of trap checks you're getting, simply look through your hunting journal and count how many you've received in the past 24 hours. Most of the time, you will have right around 24 trap checks.

If you notice that your quantity of checks is way off, only then should you send a note to the devs about it -- and even then, add your concerns to the most current trap-check related thread under the Tech Support heading (it's the group of posts all the way at the bottom of the Discussion Board). And '''DO NOT''' just add a new post with the disclaimer "I didn't see any trap check posts so I added a new one", as there are many of them, and stating otherwise only serves to show others you were too lazy to look through them.

These are random checks of your mouse trap and although they may not occur hourly, you will average about 24 each day.

If you notice that your quantity of checks is way off, then add your concerns to the most current trap-check related thread under the Tech Support heading of the discussion boards. Make sure to search for older posts that are similar in topic, as your problem may have already been answered, thus a new post would be rendered redundant.
