Templates
Please don't experiment with live templates. Work out kinks in your private sandbox first and then move the changes to the template if there's either consensus or at least lack of objection once notice has been made on the template's talk page. Changes to templates immediate impact numerous pages throughout the site and should be tested and approved before implementation except in emergencies, such as changes to the MH server that necessitate URL changes (for example).
