Zephyr Mouse

The Zephyr Mouse is a breed of mouse found in the King's Gauntlet: Tier 5, as a member of the Magic Tier. It is known to drop the Gauntlet Potion Tier 6 as loot.

| With all the capriciousness of the wind at their command, Zephyr mice can appear and disappear in an instant, becoming a gentle breeze or a fierce gale. Using spirits of the air, they can send out a gust so accurate and strong that it can whisk the cheese right out of a trap before the arm even has a chance to snap. The Zephyr’s fans may look delicate, but they use them to channel the energy of the winds. One wave, placed correctly, could knock a hunter off their feet. | |||

Preferred Cheese
The Zephyr Mouse has been found to be especially attracted to Gauntlet Cheese Tier 5, to the point that any other kind of cheese will simply not suffice.
Hunting Strategy
Shadow traps are very effective against the Zephyr Mouse.
Hydro, Draconic, Forgotten, and Arcane traps are of normal effectiveness. Physical, Tactical, and Parental traps are less effective. Law and Rift traps are ineffective.

- The Zephyr Mouse drops the Gauntlet Magic Egg during the annual Spring Egg Hunt.
History and Trivia
- 8 June 2010: The Zephyr Mouse was released with the introduction of the King's Gauntlet as part of the MouseHunt v3.0 update.
- 2 July 2010: The King granted permission to use the Gauntlet Potion Tier 5, allowing Hunters to access the Zephyr Mouse.
- 4 April 2012: The Zephyr Mouse began dropping a bonus Gauntlet Magic Egg as loot during the Spring Egg Hunt 2012 event.
