Don't complain to the devs if they do not occur every hour on the hour, as they're not designed to work that way (even though sometimes it works out nicely that way), and your complaints will only make you look foolish. Instead, if you think that there truly is a problem with the quantity of trap checks you're getting, simply look through your hunting journal and count how many you've received in the past 24 hours. Most of the time, you will have right around 24 trap checks.
