This mouse acts as the veins of the war - carrying the lifeblood of weapons, armor, water, and food to the battle front. An army is nothing without supplies. Failing to capture a Caravan Guard will undoubtedly strengthen the Marching Flame's forces. | |||

Preferred Cheese
Caravan Guard mice have no specific preference for any kind of cheese. In fact, they are known to have an aversion to SUPER|brie+ cheese and are known to avoid traps baited with them.
Hunting Strategy
None of the weapon types are very effective or effective against Caravan Guard mice. Physical, Hydro, and Tactical traps are less effective, and the rest are ineffective.
When a hunter fails to capture a Caravan Guard Mouse, one of the following messages will appear on the Hunter's Journal:
- Strength in numbers! After I failed to catch a Caravan Guard Mouse, members of my hunting party were able to prevent the mouse reinforcements from arriving!
Or
- Failing to capture a Caravan Guard Mouse allowed reinforcements to arrive!
- More mice have been added to the wave!
When failing to catch a Caravan Guard Mouse, additional mice will be added to the current wave. If a hunter has friends currently in the Sandtail Desert region, there is a chance that additional mice will not be added. A minimum of one friend is needed in helping to prevent reinforcements from arriving. However, no matter how many friends a hunter has in this region, it is not a 100% guarantee that reinforcements will be prevented.
Since failure to catch a Caravan Guard mouse carries a risk of increasing the number of mice remaining to be defeated, hunters wishing to avoid this risk are advised to use SUPER|brie+ cheese to minimize the possibility of encountering this mouse. Additionally, fewer Caravan Guard mice are attracted when any Warpath charm is armed (Warpath Archer, Warpath Soldier, Warpath Scout, Warpath Cavalry, Warpath Mage, or the super variants of these charms). In particular, arming a Warpath Mage Charm or Warpath Cavalry Charm in Wave 1 can be an effective way to adjust the population without having any charms consumed.
History and Trivia
- Caravan Guard Mice were introduced on 22 March 2011 with the release of the Sandtail Desert region.
