The cheese effect of bases and weapons determines the rate at which baited cheese goes stale. The cheese effect is calculated by averaging the effect of both the base and weapon together. For example, pairing a Stone Base (Fresh Effect), with a Mouse DeathBot (Stale Effect), results in a cheese effect of "No Effect". All averages are rounded down, so a Fresh component with a No Effect component will result in an average of "No Effect".
