I don't really see the distinction between placing these events here instead of the Timeline. You can say that players accomplished these things, and developer's releases are listed on the Timeline, but you could just as easily redefine items left on the Timeline to fit here as well (e.g. "some mouse first caught" vs "some mouse released"). Why separate?
I don't really see the distinction between placing these events here instead of the Timeline.
