- They started dropping Witch's Brew Skins on 26 October 2012.
- During 2012, the Swamp Thang mice could only be attracted at the very end of the Pumpkin Patch area at the Haunted Terrortories, after capturing the Trick and Treat mice. Upon capturing the Swamp Thang, the hunter's progress is reset and the whole location needs to be cleared again to encounter another Swamp Thang.
- During 2012, it was known to also drop Terrifying Spider and Halloween Scroll Case as loot.
