Alleged Rumble Formula
Can someone confirm the rumble formula, salt is listed twice?
- Yeah, I noticed that too...
- --Navarr 20:02, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- doesn't work
- I went ahead and deleted it, since it had 6 items when the limit is 5.
- --Navarr 20:22, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- doesn't work
Devs are smart, in order to brute-force all possible combinations, we would need to fill a five-dimensional matrix, something out of reach for most ordinary MouseHunters.
would be nice if it gave you change...
The limit is not 5, there are 6 slots at legendary, so possibly a combination will produce something that is needed in a second stage? Or somethings used twice?--Araldia 20:52, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
I am at Hero level and I have 7 Slots available.. but if all 7 slots are used there is a risk of losing all your ingredients...
the max limit is according to your rank level. Novice = 1; Apprentice = 2; and so on. But I doubt anything below Grandmaster has a use to crafting right now. The white cheddar seems to be something good to use in lower level areas so later on it may be possible for lower ranked hunters to craft. I mean cheddar that doesn't attract the super weak mice for 13 gold a pop, that's a deal there. AzureOwl 20:44, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
We have the 'talents' of the planet earth on this and we still havent figured out anything other than white cheese! WTF.. I bet the Devs are sitting there wetting them self laughing at us! It's not 1st April already is it?
I'm convinced the Nori and Salmon go together for something since that's what sushi is usually made from... Although, without rice, it's not sushi (Possible creature drop?). The salt should also be included.
Crafting items
The way it is now looks confusing. It is much simpler to jump to the cheese for the formula--Araldia 21:12, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
We need to list what crafting items are available where. All the current ones are in the training grounds. Salt and curds & whey are in the harbour. These are in the bazaar:
- glue -cheesy fluff - paint brand-paint - ionized salt
- What is the Bazaar?
- --Navarr 22:12, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- The Bazaar is a new area. You have to find a "ticket" to go there (essentially a map piece). There is a cartographer there, as well as other items to purchase.
- What mice drop the map piece?
- Kung Fu mice and Archer mice have been reported as dropping the Bazaar Ticket.
Does anyone share my opinion that cheeses that mention regular cheese in them (like Brie) might use Cheesy Fluffs? It seems no-one's having any luck creating them, so it would make sense to just open the packet and pick out the cheese you need! I also think the Invisi-Glu may be more useful than just in Glutter, it's description does say "such as" --Onion 11:45, 27 November 2008 (GMT)
Formulae that Don't Work
Can we start a list of combinations that produce "nothing interesting" so those who come next can be spared wasting resources?
- This is gonna get way too long...
CAN WE FILL IT INTO THE BRUTE FORCE TABLE FOR EASE OF REFERENCE?
1+1 of ANYTHING from TG & Bazaar except C&W + Salt (to make white cheddar)
1:2 of any combination of items from TG
1:1 ratio of C&W and Salt from 2 to 50 (ex: 2 C&W + 2 Salt, 3 C&W + 3 Salt, 4 C&W + 4 Salt, and so on...) = Nothing Interesting

Split into location
I changed the grouping of the items available from the general store. Let me know how you like it now. Tcpekin 22:35, 26 November 2008 (UTC)
- Much better
Rumble Cheese Ideas
I think instead of working on the good old guess and check method, we should go and work backward from what the cheese is. If Rumble cheese is a combination of cheeses, what if we combines EVERY ingredient available, for example?
- Perhaps the Cheesy Fluffs have more to do with the combination of cheeses, rather than one of every craftable item? :--onion 00:15 GMT, 27 November 2008
- I was thinking that same thing. Maybe the Cheese Fluffs are used as parts in the Glutter cheese? zxrax
- Ionized Salt is obviously a part of the Rumble cheese (attracting malicious foe, destroying the universe, has to deal with the Master of the Dojo)
- I was thinking that same thing. Maybe the Cheese Fluffs are used as parts in the Glutter cheese? zxrax
Glutter Cheese Ideas
Ok, what about this- glutter is a cube right? So the number of items in a cube scales up. Thus the number of Cheesy Fluffs is probably going to be 1, 8, 27, 64, etc... Then, as for the Invisi-glu - count the number of touching sides this would be: 16, 42, etc... samspade21
Possible ingredients and ideas
- For the combat, its description is :'This cheese is specially prepared swiss mounted on combat dummies and adorned with a target. Masters of the Cheese Claw often use this apparatus to teach students combat techniques as well as help decrease their mental weakness to cheese. Be warned! Should a Master of the Cheese Claw see a hunter using a chunk of this as bait it will surely cause them to challenge the hunter to defend the honor of the school.'
They mentioned combat dummies, which should be made from Splintered Wood. The Paint-Brand Paint to 'paint' a target, maybe the C/W and salt or the Cheese Fluffs(mental weakness to cheese was mentioned too, and they said both hunters CANT resist it...) for the Swiss cheese part and invisi-glu to put them all together. Amounts of each ingredient have to be guessed and tried(i cant do it since i only have 2 slots currently, so good luck!)...
- For the Rumble Cheese: Little is known about the origins of Rumble cheese. Many hunters suspect it is an invention of the Furoma forces designed to somehow destroy Gnawnia. This cheese appears to be incredibly unstable and radiate a mysterious power outwards from its center. The power of Rumble cheese intimidates all mice, scaring them away yet some hunters believe it is the key to attracting powerful, malicious mice. Should you choose to use this bait think long and hard if you are strategically prepared for the adversary it may summon.
So, Ionzied Salt(LOTS OF IT) and Invisi - Glu should be a must as both are SUPER POISONOUS and FATAL. And to attract powerful/malicious mice, it will need Cheese Fluffs and Invisi-glu yet again to put them together. They mentioned Furoma, so maybe there is an ingredient from the shop there and if that's so, it might be the splintered wood as 'almost seems to fight back (enchanted huh? a MYSTERIOUS FORCE even?'.
- For glutter: 'This cheese is the result of the careful art of fusing a seemingly infinite quantity of flavours into a single cube of cheese. This decadent bait seems to be the only cheese capable of breaking the will power of the Masters of Cheese Belt.'
Seemingly infinite quantity of flavours, obviously, Cheese Fluffs and Invisi-glu are needed. C/W, in super large amounts as their description states that elaborate flavours require greater quantities, salt too should also be used i guess. Decadence's meaning - the act or process of falling into an inferior condition or state; deterioration; decay, does not really give any obvious hints(if they do to you, do edit this) Any ingredient that can be bought or dropped by mice causes this?
- Susheese(note :it is 'su' plus cheese with the c replaced with s.)- 'Considered somewhat of an acquired taste, Susheese is the traditional meal of the school of the Cheese Fang. The combination of delicious brie and fish fresh out of the Burroughs River seems to be the only bait that will attract the Masters of the Cheese Fang.'
Fish, obviously that salmon, and nori the seaweed is most obviously needed. C/W, large quantities of it, for the brie part (ever thought that a certain amount of C/W equals cheedar, more of it equals marble, more and more equals swiss?). Salt maybe, though sushi(which appears to be what susheese takes after), is more sweet than salty(or is it the other way round?).
Obvious (?) Cheese Ingredients

- Burroughs Salmon
- Nori
Combat
- Splintered Wood
- Paint-brand Paint
- Invisi-Glu (maybe?)
Rumble
- Ionized Salt
Glutter
- Cheesy Fluffs
- Invisi-Glu
Brute force table
Maybe we should systematically try the possibilities, recording attempts in this table? ie. (Replace 'Try' with 'Fail' or the cheese)
- As this table gets longer and longer, here is a suggestion for an easy way to sort through the combinations that have already been tried; copy and paste the table below into a spreadsheet and from there it can be sorted/filtered.
- What if they simply haven't programmed the other cheeses yet?
- That would just be cruel, I would hope the devs were nicer than that --Onion 11:30, 27 November 2008 (GMT)

10x10 brute force with c&w + salt (1 cw + 1 to 10 salt, 2 cw + 1 to 10 salt, etc), with the exception of 1 cw + 1 salt gives us nothing interesting... :(
Basic cheeses brute force table
Some of the cheeses mention they are made from ie. brie or swiss. Maybe it is possible to make brie/swiss from just curds and whey and salt. Perhaps we should try these, assuming less salt than curds will be needed: When you try the combination, change "Try" to "Fail"

Item Creation Levels
Remember that for every hunter rank, the number of slots for crafting goes up. I think that maybe there is one item for every hunter title so maybe we should stop using combinations of 2 items altogether.
2 items: White Cheddar 3 items: 4 items: 5 items: 6 items: 7 items:
This is a very good point. Working on three items must produce something.--GlennNicholson 10:35, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
I would think though that since we need at least grandmaster to access bazaar and TG, most likely susheese etc. should be at least 4 to 5 items. I doubt the devs would make the new cheese cheap anyway. Salt and C&W are available in gnawnia anyway so apprentice, journeyman etc. can use them.
