| Balack's cruel sense of humour often manifests itself as he torments his undead slaves. For instance, the Elub Elders that roam Balack's Cove once prided themselves on being at one with the sea. Now, what was a metaphorical reference to their kinship with nature has become truth, as Balack turned them from shore dwellers into sea monsters, complete with tentacles. Although the Elub Elders have lost much of what made them great, their sense of indignity remains. | |||

The Elub Lich Mouse is a breed of mouse found in Balack's Cove. They are known to drop Pinches of Annoyance as loot. They are also known to drop Lich Jewels as loot, but only while hunters are in the process of completing the Zurreal Trap Research Assignment.
Preferred Cheese
- Elub Lich mice have been found to be particularly attracted to Vengeful Vanilla Stilton and, to a lesser extent, Vanilla Stilton cheese.
History and Trivia
- During the Spring Egg Hunt 2011, Elub Lich mice began dropping a bonus Cove Egg as loot for hunters who had obtained the Rocket Rabbit Mallet. They dropped the same loot the following year during the Spring Egg Hunt 2012 event for hunters who had obtained the Eggscavator.
- On 23 August 2011 they began to drop the Lich Jewel as loot.
- On 6 February 2014 they began to drop Flawless Orbs as loot.
