| Even in death, the mighty Derr do not take well to servitude. Balack keeps the deceased Derr Elders chained at all times lest they overthrow him and send him to an even deeper accursed plane. It is inadvisable to get on a Derr Lich’s bad side, but unfortunately, every side seems to be their bad side. Ages of wasting under Balack’s enchantments have worn away all semblance of the Derr Lich’s original personality, except for one emotion: unmitigated rage. | |||

The Derr Lich Mouse is a breed of mouse found in Balack's Cove. They are known to drop Bottled-Up Rage as loot. They are also known to drop Lich Jewels as loot, but only while hunters are in the process of completing the Zurreal Trap Research Assignment.
Preferred Cheese
- Derr Lich mice have been found to be particularly attracted to Vengeful Vanilla Stilton and, to a lesser extent, Vanilla Stilton cheese.
History and Trivia
- During the Spring Egg Hunt 2011, they began dropping a bonus Cove Egg as loot for hunters who had obtained the Rocket Rabbit Mallet. They dropped the same loot the following year during the Spring Egg Hunt 2012 event for hunters who had obtained the Eggscavator.
- On 23 August 2011 they began to drop the Lich Jewel as loot.
