| When this ambitious little cheese-nabber decided to burrow his way into a Christmas present, he spent about five seconds being proud of himself for coming up with an ingenious diguise. He spent the next ten seconds figuring out that without eye holes in the box, he would end up running into walls and stepping on ornaments. Then he spent the next twenty minutes wishing that he hadn’t picked a box with a novelty trap in it. (Original version) The Lunar New Year is a time for gifts and feasts, and this little mouse has managed to find his way into both! A finely wrapped gift containing many rich sweets has this mouse rather occupied inside. Being that most of his senses are occupied by the inside of the box, he is using sound to navigate the world outside and he seems to avoid the extremely loud fireworks. It is rumoured that a few of these packages have Nitropop potions hidden inside. (Year of the Dragon Festival version) | |||

The Present mouse is a breed of mouse that can be found during events. They are known to drop Snowball Bocconcini as loot.
Preferred Cheese
Present Mouse have no specific preference for any kind of cheese. On their introduction during the Great Winter Hunt '09 and other events however, they were found to be especially attracted to SUPER|brie+ and Gingerbread cheese. During the Great Winter Hunt 2011 they were found to be especially attracted to Festive Feta cheese, to the point that any other kind of cheese simply would not suffice.

- On 13 December 2009, Present Mice dropped the Two Festive Mitts in the Festive Comet for the first time.
- On 18 December 2009, they dropped the Seven Gingerbread Mice in the Festive Comet for the first time.
- On 20 December 2009, they dropped the Nine Reindeer Antlers in the Festive Comet for the first time.
- On 2 March 2010, they appeared in the Town of Gnawnia during the MouseHunt Birthday II event and dropped Timeout Hour Glass for the first time.
- On 7 March 2010, they dropped Stolen Birthday Gift in Town of Gnawnia for the first time.
- On 21 March 2010, they appeared in Great Gnarled Tree.
- The Present mouse was re-released in the Festive Comet on 3 December 2010, during the Great Winter Hunt 2010, where it was found to drop Frozen Fromage as loot.
- On 7 December 2011, Present mice were re-released in various locations throughout the kingdom, during the Great Winter Hunt 2011, but could only be attracted with Festive Feta cheese. They were known to drop Toy Metal as loot.
- On 11 February 2013, they appeared in Calamity Carl's Cozy Cruise as part of the Year of the Snake Festival, dropping Cruise Bux, Firecracker Charms, and Harbour Souvenirs as loot.
- On 10 December 2013, they appeared at the Festive Snow Fort during the Great Winter Snowball Fight dropping Snowball Bocconcini.
