On the 24th of December, the Chrome DrillBot has been released to the public, however it has not been made available for sale yet. However, i highly recommend that you buy the Chrome Drillbot, or save up for it as soon as possible.

The first thing you would look at is that the Chrome Drillbot has 3900 power while the RhinoBot has 4950 power, so why even consider buying the Chrome DrillBot? Well, while the RhinoBot has a higher base power, the power bonus is at 0% while for the Chrome DrillBot has a huge power bonus of 20%. Calculating the power WITHOUT a base, the Chrome Drillbot's power would be 4680. You can see that the power is only 270 difference.

With a base however, the power difference is increased slightly, at peak power performance, the power for RhinoBot with Tribal base is 6048, and for the Chrome DrillBot it is 5624, and the power differencce is around 424 now. However the Chrome DrillBot makes up the power difference with its high luck. At 24 luck, the Chrome DrillBot has 3 times as much luck as the RhinoBot. So what the Chrome DrillBot lacks in power, it makes up with high luck.

Also, like all Ronza's traps, the Chrome DrillBot has a very low point requirement, requiring only 544k Points to purchase, while the RhinoBot requires 16 000 000 points. So even a high master or grandmaster can purchase the Chrome DrillBot. The Cost of the RhinoBot regardless of cheese used to get the Rhino Horn is 940 000 gold for the blueprints and 404 340 gold for the Digby DrillBot Parts. While the Chrome DrillBot costs 897 400 gold, considerably cheaper than the RhinoBot.

There is however one downside to the Chrome DrillBot, the cheese effect is insanely stale, as compared to very stale for the RhinoBot. However this can be made up with a fresh base such as the Gingerbread base if you are using very expensive cheese.

Overall, for those who have not bought their Digby DrillBot yet, or even if you have, you should try and go for the Chrome DrillBot, as it can nearly replace the RhinoBot. Those who prefer the higher power however, can buy the RhinoBot. Those of Grandmaster, Legendary, or even Hero ranking, I suggest that you save up for the Chrome DrillBot right NOW, or for those who have enough money, buy it as soon as it becomes available.
