The Snow Barrage became available with the 3rd arrival of Ronza's Traveling Shoppe, on the 15th of December, 2008. While it does have the lowest Power of any tactical trap available (with the explosive base, it is 813 Power below ZLM and 1442 Power below Ambush), it has the 2nd highest luck of any trap, is tied for the highest power bonus of all traps, is tied for the 2nd highest attraction bonus of all traps (the only competitors being the newbie traps), and is tied for the highest Cheese Effect.
Whether the Attraction Bonus and Luck are enough to counter the low Power is yet to be seen.
