King's rewards affecting Rank Progression
Looking at the description of the rank progression now, I think we need some information either ways whether points from the various avenues other than mice catches (ie point loot, king's reward) actually affects it.
I know that it used to be a factor in rank progression, because in April 2008 when I first started playing, I ranked up on a horn call with a failed to attract. However that was when rank progression was based on a fixed value, which they changed not too long after into one that took in many more factors.
It'd be good if anyone can point to information that will settle the issue. In the meantime leave it as describing not, since it won't really make a difference how people play the game anyways. -- Grexx 09:23, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
- Dave Vanderburg could speak authoritatively on this (and likely would have changed it or made a comment here, as he has done with other inaccurate info). I think that this page would be better categorised as Terminology rather than Gameplay. Are others of the same opinion? I think the Gameplay box on the homepage looks a little cluttered and this small change would help. --Le6o 01:06, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
