• Corrected issue causing some new players to be marooned during the game's tutorial making them unable to progress

Birthday Updates and Fixes

• QA Room upgrades rewards have been increased to reward longer Anniversary Aura time extension
• Updated descriptions for Birthday Journal Themes
• Parental power type traps are no longer effective against Birthday Event Mice other than the Terrible Twos Mouse
• Added trap skins to the SUPER|brie+ Factory Trapsmith and adjusted costs

Other Bug Fixes

• Fixed an alignment issue with the Lunar New Year of the Dragon journal theme
• Fixed a display issue when viewing some trap setups from the camp larger trap image

• Added a Codex tab under the Special section of the Inventory page on browser
• Added Obtain Hints to all codices
• Edited the item description for the Codex of Valour
• Edited the item description for the Riftstalker Codex
• Added proper pluralization for the word "aura" in the mobile trap selector
• Fixed a bug that prevented the browser's trap selector from properly loading items after changing pages
• Fixed Horn Ready notifications not working on Android 14 devices

• Some Lunar Lantern reward track tooltips now display "Rewards some Nian Gao'da Cheese" instead of a specific quantity due to technical limitations
  • The team is exploring updating the reward track interface to support displaying differing specific quantities
  • In the meantime the quantities of Nian Gao'da Cheese are as follows:
    • 30ft: 5
    • 60ft: 3
    • 90ft: 3
    • 120ft: 3
    • 150ft: 3
    • 180ft: 3

• Added Bountiful Beanstalk to list of locations in the Celebrate Lunar New Year 2024 adventure
• Forced web caching to clear for Costumed Dragon Mouse images to ensure the updated illustrations appear for all hunters
• Costumed Dragon Mouse now drops 4 Lunar Lantern Candles in place of the Costumed Rabbit Mouse
• Monster Mouse no longer drops Lunar Lantern Candles

Patch Notes for February 6, 2024

Lunar New Year Updates and Fixes

• Updated the illustration of the Costumed Dragon Mouse
• Updated Lunar Stockpile locations to include the Bountiful Beanstalk climbing phase
• Updated the Trapsmith and General Store to include last year's rabbit themed items
• Updated the descriptions of birthday bases and birthday themes
• Fixed a HUD warning in the Queso River when hunting with Dumpling Cheese
• Due to environmental concerns, Crude Pollutinum can no longer be duplicated by the Lunar Lantern
• Increased the stats for the Jade Base now that the LE set of engraved Jade Bases has been completed
• The Lantern Lighter Scroll Case now has a max inventory quantity of three
• Lantern Lighter Treasure Chest rewards have been updated to contain regular Dumpling Cheese and Lunar Candles
  • Last year's changes to maps was the result of an oversight and miscommunication on our end: The chest contents were meant to be tweaked but regular Dumpling and Candles were supposed to be utilized for any potential changes, not their red variants
  • Unfortunately the oversight was not noticed until the event had already begun and since existing chests were not "versioned", it made it difficult to correct the issue while the event was active
  • Existing Lunar Lighter Treasure Chests have been updated to include "2023" in their name and contain the same contents as last year
• Updated the 300 ft Lantern height reward to include Red Lunar Lantern Candles
• The "Celebrate Lunar New Year 2024" Adventure now rewards Red Lunar Lantern Candles
