Talk:Trap Setup Options for the Harbour

From MHWiki

Good forum post on relationship between cheese and attraction at the Harbour. http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?xid=mousehunt_novice&app_id=10337532241&c_url=http%253A%252F%252Fapps.facebook.com%252Fmousehunt%252Fboards.php&r_url=http%253A%252F%252Fapps.facebook.com%252Fmousehunt%252Fboards.php&sig=0c8a41a574c3883991caeccc2f6ac97b&topic=20543&post=330590

Note that the actual attraction rate will vary depending on the level of the hunter - so not including in main article by leaving in talk page as a reference

Marble Cheese. Costs 50g per piece. Total attraction rate - 55% White Grey Brown attraction rate - 33% All other attraction rate - 12%

Swiss Cheese. Costs 100g per piece. Total attraction rate - 75% White Grey Brown attraction rate - 35% All other attraction rate - 40%

White Cheddar Costs ~20g per piece (assuming an Apprentice ruins 50% they try to craft) Total attraction rate - 45% White Grey Brown attraction rate - 0% All other attraction rate - 45%

I use white cheddar a lot. I got my cyclops using white cheddar. My Friend is a journeyman, he uses DB/Exp/WC. What did he catch? Cyclops with GGT map. When he was apprentice, he caught dwarf with CC Map using WC. It is really cheap to start collecting stale cheese, gold and points. As long as using the most stale setup such as Rocketine/DB/OoI/Acro with Exp base. Pus 22:58, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
Good point that White Cheddar is a low cost cheese option for locations besides the Harbour - this page is all about the Harbour. White Cheddar is also an option for Stale Cheese Farming as you point out. -- Ralphminer 23:11, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
Collecting stale cheese at this level, mousehunter will loose just small gold/point. When mousehunter enters FG/AR, 1 stale cheese means lost income about 3K-5K gold/point. Pus 23:20, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
