Editing user pages

Hi Jamster, first of all, welcome to the MH Wiki. Secondly, the page you edited was a user talk page for a user that doesn't exist. Please don't edit a page unless you're sure that you're on the correct page. Were you looking for the User:M. instead? -- Grexx 11:51, 1 March 2009 (UTC)

Before making edits, you should check your changes by using the "Show preview" button. Also, you should not be editing someone's User Page. What you should edit/comment on is their user talk page. Just like your user page is User:Jamster and your user talk page is User talk:Jamster (which is this page).

The user page is mostly for the user to post information on themselves or things that they want other people to know about, while the user talk page is for discussions about, or with the particular user. Also, you can reply to discussions on your talk page on the page itself, which helps to keep the conversation in one place.
