Overview
The Great Winter Hunt 2025 event takes place in Great Winter Taiga region, with 3 hunting locations: Cinnamon Hill, Golem Workshop, and Ice Fortress.
This region requires the rank of Recruit to access. It is only available during the event.
In this location, the Hunter aims to ultimately defeat the Frost King, which is only available after taking down Ice Fortress Shield.
Gameplay Mechanics
Snow Golem
During the event, the Snow Golem is in effect in all 3 locations in this region.

Fortress
In this location, a Fortress mechanic is in effect:
- There is an Ice Fortress Shield with 36 HP.
- There are 3 cannons: Animated Snow Cannon, Cinnamon Cannon, and Charm Cannon. Each cannon can be either Offline or Firing.
- Firing cannons add loot to mice. These loot are doubled by Festive Spirit.
- Animated Snow Cannon makes mice drop 1 Animated Snow
- Cinnamon Cannon makes mice drop 1 Compressed Cinnamon
- Charm Cannon makes mice drop 1 of these Charms:
- Firing cannons also make mice drop Reinforced Ice Shard.
- The number of Shard dropped is equal to number of firing cannons.
- This loot is also doubled by Festive Spirit.
- Firing cannons add loot to mice. These loot are doubled by Festive Spirit.
- When hunting with at least 1 cannon with Firing state, the Hunter can damage the Shield.
- Each cannon adds 1 damage and consumes 1 Hailstone per hunt.
- Using Festive Spirit adds 1 additional damage per hunt.
- When the Shield HP reaches 0, the Hunter will attract Frost King next hunt in this location.
- During this hunt, the cannons are in Holding status. They don't consume Hailstone in this state.
- Catching Frost King resets the Shield to 36 HP.
Heads-Up Display
The Heads-Up Display can be divided into 3 parts:
- Top shows quick travel interface and general guide.
- Left provides Snow Golem info.
- Right provides Fortress info.

- A button with a map icon which can be clicked to open an interface to travel among Cinnamon Hill, Golem Workshop, and Ice Fortress
- A ? button which can be clicked to bring up Info interface
Info interface
This interface provides a general guide to participate in the event:
- Collect Golem Parts
- Hunt using standard bait in any Great Winter Taiga location to collect Pecan Pecorino cheese.
- Hunt mice using Pecan Pecorino or Glazed Pecan Pecorino cheese to collect golem parts.
- Build Snow Golems
- Once you've collected 1 Golem Head, 1 Golem Torso, and 4 Golem Limbs, you can construct a Snow Golem.
- Choose any location in the Kingdom that you've already unlocked and send your Golem there to collect loot for you.
Cinnamon Hill
Hunt mice with Pecan Pecorino or Glazed Pecan Pecorino cheese to collect Compressed Cinnamon.
Take this Compressed Cinnamon to the Golem Workshop to fuel the Golem Part Forges.
Golem Workshop
Turn on a Golem Part Forge to begin manufacturing its associated Golem part.
Each active Forge will consume one Compressed Cinnamon and make one unit of progress per hunt.
When a Forge completes, it automatically produces a Golem part!
Ice Fortress
Turn on a cannon to start firing Hailstones at the Ice Shield while you hunt.
Per hunt, each active cannon will consume one Hailstone, deal one unit of damage to the shield, and cause the mice to drop its associated item.
Once the shield reaches zero, you will encounter the Frost King until he is caught.
Catching the Frost King will reward you with a Magical Holiday Scarf and will reset the shield's health.
Left
The HUD tracks the Hunter's inventory of:
- Standard Cheese
- Pecan Pecorino Cheese
- Glazed Pecan Pecorino Cheese
- Festive Jingle Bell
- Magical Holiday Hat
- Magical Holiday Scarf
- Golem parts:
- Animated Snow
- Reinforced Ice Shard
The HUD also shows Snow Golem info:
- Golem level and upgrade cost
- Locations to which golems were sent
- Number of hunt until golems return
Clicking on golems brings up the Golem interface.

Explore
Snow Golems love to explore! Send them to your favourite locations in the Kingdom and they'll bring back valuable loot for you!
This tab shows the current golem status, which can be either:
- Available:
- List of locations to send golem
- Exploring:
- Location sent
- Number of hunt left
Upgrade
Use Reinforced Ice Shards to increase the amount of loot your Snow Golems bring back! Upgrades are permanent and will even apply to golems who are already out exploring.
This tab shows the Golem leveling info:
- Current golem level and loot
- Upgrade cost and bonus loot for the next level

Mice
All mice found in this location are part of Event Mice group.
All Power Types work against these mice.
Standard Cheese attracts mice that drop Pecan Pecorino as loot. Festive Spirit adds the same quantity of Pecan Pecorino dropped to the Hunter's inventory.
Pecan Pecorino and Glazed Pecan Pecorino attract mice that drop Snow Golem Head, Snow Golem Torso, and Snow Golem Limb as loot.
With New Year's update, all mice here are guaranteed to drop Firework Sugar Cookie. Festive Spirit adds the same quantity of Firework Sugar Cookie dropped to the Hunter's inventory.
- Mice attracted with Pecan Pecorino (including Frost King) drop 1 Firework Sugar Cookie, with the exception below.
- Snowflake, Joy, and Glazy drop more than 1 Firework Sugar Cookie.
- New Year's drops 10 Firework Sugar Cookie.

This place gives me the chills and I'm not talking about the temperature!
Deep inside that scary-looking Ice Fortress, behind that tough-looking ice shield, lives the frigid fanatic who calls himself the Frost King.
Rumour has it, he is trying to freeze the entire Kingdom of Gnawnia so that we'll be stuck in the festive season forever!
As much as I love this season, all good things must come to an end and that's where we need your help!
You'll need to capture the Frost King to put a stop to his plan but before you can reach him, you'll need to break through his Reinforced Ice shield.
I've taken the liberty of setting up three cannons capable of firing Hailstones which are the only things strong enough to break through Reinforced Ice.
So collect some Hailstones from your Snow Golems, switch on these cannons, and start the barrage for the good of the Kingdom!
