Why don't we just move this disambiguation page to an ''Orbs'' page instead? If we're going to explain what it is in the page, we might as well make a specific ''Orbs'' page. I know for a fact that I would much rather have an ''Orbs'' page with the specifics on orbs than the current disambiguation page. It would then make sense to have a table like [[User:Aaronmil|aaronmil]] suggested. :Agreed. As a distinct form of loot with important variations, Orbs merit their own page, IMO. But before we move it, I suggest we discuss the form we want the final page to take, to make sure we are all on the same page (heh) in regards to the purpose and content of the new page.

* Charms (a table showing which charms can be crafted from each type of Orb)

Table Request

Looks like we need to actually populate this page with a description of what Orbs are, and add a nice table so people can see which mice drop which orb in which location for crafting which charms...aaronmil 22:09, 29 January 2011 (UTC)

You're free to add it but it's just extra information to keep updated. This page exists only as a courtesy. If we end up getting a lot of Orbs later - or lots of requests now - then summary information would simply appear on the Orb page. --Hyperchao 22:31, 29 January 2011 (UTC)
I've updated it with an introduction, which I agree was necessary. I kind of lean towards "less is more" on a table now, though... all the info is available in the wiki (you can see where a particular orb is dropped, then go to the location page to see which mice drop it). I think a compiled table like that might be more appropriate in your user pages. --GoBecky 16:06, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

Request to move page

Why don't we just move this disambiguation page to an Orbs page instead? If we're going to explain what it is in the page, we might as well make a specific Orbs page. I know for a fact that I would much rather have an Orbs page with the specifics on orbs than the current disambiguation page. It would then make sense to have a table like aaronmil suggested. Anyone agree or disagree? -- S18067 talkcontr 14:31, 28 February 2011 (UTC)

Agreed. As a distinct form of loot with important variations, Orbs merit their own page, IMO. But before we move it, I suggest we discuss the form we want the final page to take, to make sure we are all on the same page (heh) in regards to the purpose and content of the new page.
I humbly propose the following sections:
  • The current description, with some minor tweaks
  • Sources (a table showing the mice/locations where the orbs are dropped)
  • Charms (a table showing which charms can be crafted from each type of Orb)
  • History and Trivia
  • Images
  • See Also ( Category:Charms, anything else?)
  • Categories: Crafting, Inventory(?), anything else?
I'll happily help put this all together once agreement is met (or a reasonable span of time passes without objection). Indeed, unless someone else has already formatted the tables for sources and uses, I'll start building those in my sandbox.
