It is as I thought then. At some time was this not the case or was this article just plain incorrect in the past? --[[User:Niehusa|Niehusa]] 11:37, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

Sorry for the apparently false conclusion/edit. Well something is limiting my ability to join my friends' hunts, and I have noticed that only fellow Journeymen seem to bring me along, and sometimes not even then. For instance, I stayed logged in and ready to hunt overnight, but this AM I found:

I don't think I saw a KR this AM; do they cancel after a certain time? This limiting factor should be spelled out here too.

When I say I "stayed logged in and ready to hunt", I mean I didn't turn off my computer and I kept a Mousehunt screen open in my browser, as I am now while doing something else (e.g. writing this message.) I guess the King's reward kicks you out after a certain time.

Rank question

The previous version had some kind of reference that the people in your hunting group needed to be at your same rank to be brought along for the hunt with you. Is this supposed to be same rank or higher? I know this to not be so, I have lower ranked friends that can blow my horn for me.

Rank makes zero difference. That would essentially defeat the purpose of the hunting group for most highly ranked players. I can sound the horn for others in my party of lesser rank and vice versa. Just look at my log (or anyone's, really) for verification. --B.Rossow · talk 06:35, 13 December 2009 (UTC)

1) I had nothing but hourly trap checks overnight; and
2) Several of my friends, including fellow journeymen, had been active in the past few minutes but I didn't get to go along on their hunts. Check my journal to confirm. Why not? This entry is incomplete. --Stanzi 13:30, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
You probably had a King's Reward overnight to which you didn't respond. Once that is triggered, you won't go along on friend's hunts until you enter the KR code. How exactly did you stay logged in and ready to hunt overnight? --B.Rossow · talk 14:35, 13 December 2009 (UTC)
