An ethereal creature created by powerful magi to guard the scholarly halls within the Labyrinth. They alert others of intruders' presence with their echoing wails of discouragement, demoralizing them from their course, making the maze seem futile in an effort to drive them away. These mice are deemed to be ghosts of the dead who have fallen to these halls long, long ago.
