The Wandering Monk Mouse is a breed of mouse found in the Furoma Rift. It is the Rift counterpart of Monk Mouse.

Believed to have learned all they can from the ancient teachings offered within the Grand Pagoda, these monks roam around in search of higher learning and teachings from the outside world. An endless search for stronger opponents, new techniques, and a mastery of life drive these mice to explore the outer most regions of the Rift Plane.

Hopefully you encounter one leaving the Grand Pagoda in search of new teachings, and not one returning with experience and greater abilities...
