Instructions for updating ALL MICE to this new format
When updating, use the PAGENAME template in place of the mouse name throughout the article. This allows easier borrowing of code when editing and ensures the name is correct throughout the article. It should be bolded. Double check that the use of "the" before the mouse name reads properly, if not, remove the "the".
Above the InfoBox
- "White" redirects here. For other uses, see White (disambiguation).
Remove any text before the InfoBox, except any redirect info
InfoBox
Reorganize the order of the template calls to reflect what is shown below:
- id = Can be found in the source code
- maxpoints = Number only
- mingold = Number only
- mgroup = Group name
- subgroup = Subgroup name
- habitat =List in alphabetical order with a line break between each. Some mice (Relic Hunter, Black Widow) should just refer users to the body of the article
- loot = List in alphabetical order with a line break between each. Some mice (Relic Hunter, Black Widow, mice with HUGE loot tables) should just refer users to the body of the article
- traptype = List only those types that have the greatest effectiveness. List in the order shown on the mouse LLL. Use Any type if all types have the same "effectiveness" rating (disregard Parental here)
- bait = Use specific required cheeses. Standard Cheese can be used for mice who have no preference for one type over another (minor exceptions should be pointed out in main article below)
- charm = Use specific required charms, or Charms that improve specific attraction for the mouse (Fiery warpath charms as an example). Explanations should be made inmain article below
- other = An specific requirement, such as Tide level, or Spill level, or Fiery Warpath wave, etc.
- mhinfo = Use the game code name for mouse
- image = https://www.mousehuntgame.com/images/mice/large/ IMAGE NUMBER.jpg - NO third party links should be used here. Replace any you find with the in-game image link.
- desc = Put the mouse description here. Please confirm that it is current and correct. Changes can be noted in the trivia section in the main article body.

Cheese and Charm Preference
List and explain any cheese and charm preferences here.
Cheese
Example for cheeses:
The TW George prefers Standard Cheese, but will avoid traps baited with White Cheddar Cheese.
In the Mountain location, TW George will not be encountered when hunting with White Cheddar, Chedd-Ore Cheese, or Abominable Asiago.
In the Training Grounds location, TW George will not be encountered when hunting with White Cheddar or SUPER|brie+.
In the Windmill location, TW George will not be encountered when hunting with White Cheddar or Grilled Cheese.
Charms
Examples:
No Charms are required to attract the TW George.
OR
The Softserve Charm is required to catch the TW George in the Slushy Shoreline location.
Power Type Weaknesses
Add this section and table to each entry. List power types in the order shown on the Mouse LLL.
Very Effective |
Effective |
Less Effective |
---|---|---|
None | All except Parental |
None |
After the table list any specifics that might be important.
Examples of mice with some specifics in need of explaining:
- Eclipse shows as weak to 8 of the 10 power types, but only Forgotten traps should be used as the others will not have any effect
- Warmonger and Artillery Commander have no weaknesses at all shown, but Hunters should be encouraged to arm their strongest setups (usually Physical)
- Zurreal the Eternal shows no weaknesses and requires Zurreal's Folly (and a Scholar Charm) to capture it.
Locations
List locations here. Example:
Hunters can encounter the TW George in all locations in the region of Gnawnia, as well as in the King's Arms and the Training Grounds.
Loot
Use a basic layout to explain loot by location. Mice with a LOT of loot can use a table or a list by type to allow hunters to better view the possibilities. (Example: Retired Minotaur, Ful'Mina, The Mountain Queen (she needs updated with a loot table))
The TW George drops loot in the following locations:
The TW George is not known to drop any loot in the Harbour, King's Arms, or Mountain locations.
Hunting Strategy
Use this section to explain any specifics required for catching the mouse. This section can rehash some of the stuff from the other sections in a format that acts as a guide or walkthrough.
Opinions should not be used, just explanations of the various mechanics of attracting and catching the mouse based on various baits, trap set-ups, charm use, etc.
Event Participation
Update this section for all mice. Streamline it to the new Date section format and remove all specifics, leaving only links to the relevant events. Keep the Spring egg Hunt entry first.
Attraction info and special event loot drops for the TW George can be found at the individual event location pages.
